Full mailbox: what to do?

When your mailbox has reached its maximum space capacity, all new incoming messages get rejected by the server, and a full box notification is sent to the sender and the recipient.

Even if you normally use a POP3 or IMAP, to deal with this problem you can use the Webmail to clean your mailbox.

However, to keep the occupied space under control, follow these simple tips:

  • periodically delete messages that are in the "trash";
  • check all messages (both sent and received) with very heavy attachments and, if possible, delete them;
  • check all messages (both sent and received) and delete all those you do not want to keep (heavy, old, or no longer of interest).
